Emotional Freedom Technique:

According to EFT founder Gary Craig:
“Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is an emotional, needle free version of acupuncture that is based on new discoveries regarding the connection between your body’s subtle energies, your emotions, and your health. EFT has been reported successful in thousands of cases covering a huge range of emotional, health and performance issues. It often works where nothing else will. Best of all, anyone can learn and use EFT and you don’t need specialized schooling for it. ”

At this experiential lecture,  you are invited to experience EFT’s results for yourself – after a couple of minutes of very basic instructions, you too can perform your first “rounds” of personal tapping. Experience has shown that “tapping rounds” in groups increases the power of this technique, and brings about transformational shifts even more rapidly than tapping alone.

Nothing contained in this lesson should be considered a medical claim or medical advice, but many share that EFT has been found to bring about healing, and decrease the need for medications or surgeries.

Radical Self Care

Women desiring lives filled with greater joy and abundance come together once a month for a committed period of six months. Calling ourselves a “Radical Self Care support circle”, we have met to create a safe space – a “container” – in which we use deep personal explorations, journal writing, guided meditations, and sacred group work in many forms. We delve deeply into what we believe to be true, and challenge ourselves to create new paths that serve us in living more vibrantly, with joy and pleasure in every day. We uncover and transform self-limiting beliefs, learn new ways to nurture ourselves, and create a network of accountability and support for meeting our own self-care needs.

Are you ready?  Is this circle for you? Are you ready to say “I’m IN!” Are you ready to connect deeply with other women who are also doing this powerful work of Self-Care? Are you ready for a time of loving yourself more fully than you ever have, and embracing your own vibrant, juicy self as never before?

The purpose of Radical Self Care IS:

  • To support you in your life, power, path and truth
  • To facilitate deep personal growth and healing
  • To more fully activate your life purpose – naming your goals, and learning necessary self-care tools to reach them
  • To learn and practice healing and self-care skills
  • To overcome resistances and work with self-esteem and confidence, to move from fear into transformation
  • To manifest the life you are dreaming of
  • To act and speak for what you know to be true
  • To be present to your pain and to your joy
As a woman, awake and living consciously, you are being called to remember who you are and to love all parts of yourself fiercely. It begins with one step on the path of commitment. You are invited to devote yourself to realizing that you do enough, you have enough, and you are enough. Take the time now to make your dreams a reality. Life will never be the same.

Reiki Training

Reiki is the ancient art of healing through the use of energy. Reiki can be learned, practiced, and taught in different degrees. Generally, this movement is divided into three major categories, with each one in a higher level than the other.

The major divisions of Reiki training are simply referred to as first, second, and third degree Reiki levels.

Reiki Master Jodi Green offers a two-day Reiki first degree training and attunement workshop.  This workshop can be scheduled in two four-hour sessions on weeknights or weekends.

Reiki first degree is focused on teaching everything a beginner needs to know about the art of Reiki. Here, you will be taught what Reiki really means and what it can do for you. We begin with in-depth description about Reiki, including where it came from, how to give it, and the proper way of using it. After all the concepts are taught and the mental, emotional, and physical natures of the student are thoroughly prepared, hands-on practice will take place.

Upon completion of the first degree Reiki training, a student will know how to use the Reiki energy for self-healing. This same energy can also be channeled to help other people, like friends and family. Reiki can effectively prevent illness in your family, as well as allowing you to promote healing through massage and physiotherapy. First degree Reiki is also often found to greatly stimulate personal and spiritual growth in a person. After this level, you will be able to elevate your mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical state more easily and powerfully than ever before.

This weekend-long course is for all people who simply want to discover what Reiki is, and for those who would like to learn how to heal themselves and others.

Creating Heart’s Desire Mandalas

Many of us have heard by now of Vision Boards – creating a visual representation of dreams and goals, to use as a focal point in bringing our wishes into reality.

Mandala making is a simple creative and meditative technique used for deeper self exploration. When combined with vision board techniques, this becomes something entirely new – truly, a Heart’s Desire board!

In this two-hour workshop, through personal artistic expression, you will discover your dreams and goals, experience healing, and find new joy. No artistic abilities are needed, just a willingness to contemplate, reflect and share.

Watch your dreams become your reality!

RELEASE:  An Exercise in Forgiving and Letting Go

“To forgive is to set a prisoner free, and discover that the prisoner was you.”
—Lewis B. Smedes, author of Forgive & Forget: Healing the Hurts We Don’t Deserve

Who do you need to forgive? Another, for hurting you? Your self, for inflicting even an unintentional hurt on another, or even against yourself? The time has come to enter into intentional space with one another, with the desire to break-through, to let go, to set the prisoner free – even if jst a little bit more today than yesterday.

A ritual is a series of focused actions taken with a specific goal in mind. In this case the goal is to let go and forgive. While the term is often used in a spiritual setting, many communities and individuals from all backgrounds now use mindful action as a tool to break through tightly-held patterns of thought and behavior.

There is no magic to forgiving and healing the hurts, the wrongs, the judgments in our lives. Burning a candle cannot heal a pattern of miscommunication and lack of trust. Yet truly opening to forgiveness can do more than heal a relationship – it can heal our broken hearts. Without anyone else’s knowledge, cooperation, or understanding, we can choose to release, and heal ourselves.

As Peggy Ray writes:

“What we do need is a sincere desire to forgive the past hurts, and to heal our pain within. It is possible for us to do this without ever interacting with the other person. Forgiveness does not mean inviting an abusive individual back into our lives. Forgiveness means clearing the residual effects of the pain that we still carry buried deeply within us. We must forgive others for our own sake, not because the other person deserves to be forgiven. We do this in order to set ourselves free.”

In this two-hour workshop, Interfaith Minister Jodi Green comes to share a simple, profound healing ritual. This process of forgiveness is an extremely powerful, but very simple process that even a child can learn. It is designed to help you to forgive and heal any relationship or situation that has caused you pain.

Come with an open heart, and leave feeling peace, ease, and powerful change.

Red Tent Temple

Around the country, groups of women are coming together once a month on or near the New Moon, to create a safe, nurturing, healing space by women for women.  Jodi Green will assist you in the raising of your own Red Tent in your home or community space.

Here we can take a nap, journal, spend time in quiet thought with a cup of tea, rest our head in a sister’s lap, come to bellylaugh together, share our stories, educate and mentor our young daughters and sisters, listen to our elders.

Women are free to come and go anytime. We have a talking circle together at 7pm, and other times of day are open to the ideas of women who come. This is a free event, with donations lovingly accepted to maintain our meeting space.

Come. Bring your mother, your sisters, your daughters, and most of all your selves. Bring your stories, your talents, your abilities, and your receptivity. The Red Tent Temple is open to all women under the common ground we share of our desire to connect, our deep caring for others and our need for taking care of ourselves. Together we can create the world that we the women want.

Body Love Belly Art

In this two-hour workshop, it’s time to honor the power of our bellies, and celebrate our bodies in their many shapes and sizes! Our bellies are the home of our life-giving wombs, our creative source – whether we are birthing children, or birthing ourselves, or birthing new ideas into the world – all women are creatrixes. How far away we stray – through our culture, our negative self talk, our judgments – from loving, honoring, and celebrating our beautiful selves.

We come together in a safe space, as sisters in a safe container together, to explore and rewrite our core beliefs about the bodies we live in. We’ll practice some good belly-affirming body movement, and finally, for those so inclined, we’ll create some beautiful breast and belly plaster castings.

Facilitator Jodi Green has many years of experience in professional body casting, and in women’s healing work. Women who have done this work together with Jodi have reported time and again that, though they felt nervous coming in, this is one of the most fun and profound gifts they’ve ever given themselves. The body art created on this day has been cherished for years.

So, it may be true that you already love and celebrate the body you are in, and are making the choice to show up and renew and reaffirm what you already know. Or, it may be true that you feel scared and are taking the risk to show up anyway. Making that choice, all by itself, is something to be proud of. This will be worth it!

Admission includes the cost of bodycasting supplies. Bring a towel that can get messy, and wear clothing that can be adjusted to expose your belly or bring a sarong, sheet, or underwear (whatever suits your comfort level) that can get messy. The materials we use here will wash out of clothing, but the process itself can be messy (as all fun and creative things can have the tendency to be!)

Making Fermented Foods at Home

Kombucha, yogurt, kefir, sourdough… fermented foods are yummy, and so good for you!

Kombucha tea is a tasty beverage that has a flavor similar to apple cider. It is a fermented tea that you can grow from a culture right at home. Full of living enzymes, kombucha tea is reported to have many health benefits. Kombucha tea can be purchased from many health food stores for three or four dollars for a 12 oz bottle. These bottles have often been sitting on a shelf for days or weeks, losing many of their precious living enzymes. Why spend your money this way, when kombucha can easily be made at home for only pennies a gallon?

Come learn about making your own kombucha tea at home, and sample some delicious homemade kombucha.

Also, learn the how-tos of making your own yogurt, kefir, and even your own sourdough starter. Eating more healthfully is simple, when you know how!

Herbs for Health

Herbs 101 – all you need to know to begin using herbal remedies at home!

Traditional Naturopath Jodi Green leads this interesting and informative two-hour meeting on beginning to use herbs for health. Bring your questions and be ready to learn something new!

We’ll be learning about common uses for easily found herbs, drying and storing herbs, learning to make our own teas and tinctures, and keeping a natural medicine cabinet in our homes.

Dreamwork – Inviting, Remembering, Recording, and Examining Dreams

Scientific research shows that there is no such thing as a person who does not dream. Throughout history, in all cultures, dreams have served as a vehicle for creative inspiration. Dreams speak a universal language of metaphor and symbolism. When the effort to remember, record, and examine dreams is made, it can result in startling insights, creative ideas, and a more conscious understanding of confusing emotions.

We will gather in the evening and spend some time in learning techniques including teas and aromatherapy for inviting more vivid dreams, hints for more effective dream recall, pointers for recording our dreams, and methods to interpret our dreams and seek their deeper meaning. This workshop can be offered as a three hour gathering or as an overnight retreat.

Aromatherapy 101

Want to learn how to use aromatherapy to shift your mood, improve your health, and live in a greener way? Let’s get together with Traditional naturopath Jodi Green to talk about living a more aromatic life with essential oils.

Soothing and healing essential oils are useful every day for beauty, health, and emotional well being through every age and stage of life. Jodi will offer a comprehensive overview to using some of the more popular as well as the more unusual essential oils, and will share her recipes for blends for the bath, massage, health care, and home care.

Come learn which “basics” to keep on hand for use in your home medicine chest. Find out which oils promote a cleaner home, fight the daily doldrums, or even help with dieting goals. Talk about what has worked for you, and be ready to learn something new.

Learn about the myriad of methods with which these amazing, simple, non-toxic plant-based oils can be used each and every day. This is not the time for a sales pitch for any company or brand of oils – just a fun, educational gathering for those wishing to learn more about aromatherapy for better living.

This session is scheduled for two hours.  Bring your questions, and be ready to really enjoy yourself. There is a per person fee for this class.

The Heart and Soul of Sex

Are you ready to live with more joy and unlock your own potential for truly soul-satisfying sex? Then read on.

Yes, life is busy. We have jobs, kids, homes, committments, worries, fears… How much more important is has become, right NOW, to begin saying YES to more joy. Women just like you, and just like me, with doubts, and fears, and healing to be done, have gone on to learn, grow, and embrace joy and ecstasy in ways they never imagined possible. This is EVEN with the life of stress, and laundry, and dishes right now!

The workshop is a one day learning experience in the Holistic Living studio (34 S. Delsea Dr in Glassboro, NJ) , where we provide a safe, comfortable (clothes on, hands off) environment to explore how to create a fabulous sexual experience that involves all of you body, mind, heart, and spirit.

Gina Ogden, author of the book The Heart and Soul of Sex: Making the ISIS Connection, says:
“Sexual connection has the power to transform our lives at any age, whether or not you have a partner.”

Expand your capacity for love, creativity, compassion, and pleasure. Open yourself to the profound wisdom of your own body, mind, heart and soul. This is the ISIS Connection where sexual experience enters the uncharted territory of ecstasy and mystical revelation.

But how can we possibly do this, you might ask?

Well, the Heart and Soul of Sex class is all about learning how. In this workshop, available as a four week class series or one day intensive, we will be:

  •  Joining together in lively interactive discussions
  • Using creative journaling and powerful guided meditation
  • Exploring the differences between Performance Sex and Integrated Spirituality and Sexuality (ISIS) Sex
  • Learning where we block ourselves from joy, and how to use this awareness to create positive change
  • Discovering (or rekindling!) your own sensuality, your own power, your own potential for truly soul-satisfying sex.

It really is powerful work! Women who have participated in this series with Jodi before are saying:

The work you did will forever be in my heart as one of the most wonderful experiences in my life! I will recommend that if anyone who has the opportunity, and the time is right in their life, to go and enjoy the ISIS experience. – Dawn R.

This workshop can be offered as a four-week series of two-hour sessions, or as a one-day, eight-hour intensive.  For the cost of one class, you will gain the skills necessary for more juicy living that will last a lifetime. Don’t miss out on this life-changing sensual re-awakening. Our class space is limited; this is an intimate circle, we do keep classes smaller.
